UK flight to Halifax

Has anyone noticed that flights from uk to canada seem to have really shot up in price this year? We were planning on going to Halifax in July and travelling around NS, NB and PEI but the flights now...

Just out of interest-if they take your UK licence in Canada, when you come back (ie holiday or if return) to UK how long can you drive without swapping back. Or do you have to retake your UK test?

In toronto for concerts weve been to the mod club and lees palace, and also air canada centre (i know not a small independant venue but ....). Also like mooching about record shops for new music.

What I was trying to say re "music industry" is that there is quite a good variety of music in canada and whenever we go there we look out new music and from what we've seem ther seems to be more of...

There are lots of great musicians/bands/artists that havent been mentioned yet, but I suppose it depends where your musical tastes lie. The music scene is one of the reasons we like going to Canada...

Hopefully will beable to do reccie soonish but went to BC this year end June and havent much time left for holidays-only have a few long weekends , which seems bit extravagant to go to Canada again!!
