and in case of a bank manager is it like someone you personally know or the branch manager? as I do have an account for last 3 years now but like never been to the branch myself as I can do it all...

I had heard that some one at the DIAC office can also sign for it, is it still true?

What if you don't know anyone from the list as a worst case scenario, what are the options in that case?

Very true as they even never looked at my sticker :) so its just a hassle getting it if you dont have much time before flights... but it sure is needed at quite a lot of places in Australia like...

Again it varies from domain to domain as I am from IT so relating to that where I guess if you are know some thing then experience gained anywhere in the world will count towards getting a good one

I am not sure what domain you are talking about for work but I work in IT and I have got job in three different countries I have lived so far like that just on the phonic interviews and I met them...

"you will have a grant letter so you can get the visa label from any nearest Australian Embassy"

What happens if you are granted a PR visa say today 5th of July and you get the first entry date for 5th of Feb 2010 and you validate your visa by the 5th december which is more then 3 months of stay...

Yes, there is something like the same in my contract where I cant work for a competitor but in my case its not even close to the competitor :thumbsup:
