two jobs on 175
I am currently on a 175 and in Australia, just had a quickie...
Is there any problem if I do a 2-3 hours a day job for like 3 days a week with my full time job? are there any restrictions like that?

The only exception I can think of is if you work for a government agency - my contract with WA Health says I need permission to work at any other job while employed by them.

for e.g. you work for a Bank full time. And you get hired by another competitor (need not be a bank but in certain aspects a competitor nevertheless) as consultant part time..
in such situations, where would loyalties lie?

yes.. i think they do.. just to clear any conflict of interest in the work you do.

I will be taking on some acting/direction roles here which is my other interest so I guess in that case there is no complication

If you are in Australia on a 175 visa nobody cares what job you do. You can work 3 part time jobs or no job at all if that's what makes you happy.

good luck man! make sure you don't endorse your competitor's brand when you become famous! .. err.. may be you wouldn't have to work as Electronics Engineer then..!

Then you don't need to tell anyone. Just do what you want. On a 175 you are free to work and live wherever you like.
