no my parents certainly did not not help me...but the world is a very different place now....we have 2 kids under 11 and have 2 properties purchased 7 years and 20 years ago for them when they need...

we found living on $155-$185k ( depending on bonus ) quite hard,quality food and goods are hard to come by.....everything seems costly except schooling which is very cost effective.....i got company...

...we travelled around for 2 weeks....most places have no real amenities...we have 3 very active kids under 10.....club swimmers,basketball etc and if you want these facilities you seem to have to be...

we came and looked at halifax,mahone bay,bridgewater....all seemed to lack amenities..... beaches and coastal properties weren't up to much either.....but i guess if you haven't got much money then...

hi ann....my info is factual,we have lived in ontario for a few years...don't work and have 2 young kids no loans,no mortgage....costs....food $1000 + rates $410 + ins's $440 + petrol/car maintenance...

....believe me 250,000 quid is not enough...i came here to retire,left a v good job in london and brought over alot more than that and it is just enough,even leaving investments at home..i'm probably...
