Maybe a sub forum where only positive posts about OZ are allowed, maybe call it the "Rose Tinted glasses forum" a forum that people can read and feel positive, without getting depressed from reading...

House prices used to be cheap in Tassie 10 -15 years ago but recently they are catching up tp the mainland.

Some of the main compalints are that the chocolate does'nt taste as good , you can't get walkers crisps at the supermarkets and they don't show Eastenders on TV.

l lived in Adelaide for a few years, its colder up in Mt Barker does'nt get as hot in summer as down in Adelaide city, probably be warm enough to swim your your pool 4 maybe 5 months of the year from...

Houses are cheaper but not so much anymore in Perth Melbourne and Sydney,renting is cheaper, land is alot cheaper especially in the country areas. Petrol is half the price but you travel further...

My advice check out St.Andrews, Hurstbridge, Diamond creek area warburton, you can get a house on a few acres of land with a swimming pool for under $500,000,
beautiful mountain area, catch a train...

Depends on what your occupation is, theres probably a shortage of doctors and nurses in most rural areas and other in demand occupations may be able to get jobs easily in the area.

l reccommend Warrnambool or nearby, some of the best beaches in OZ and surf beaches, beautiful green countryside, dairy country, four seasons , does'nt get too hot in summer, However is does get cold...
