Default What is a Bogan?
I have seen a number of posts referring to 'bogans'. What are they? Are they like chavs?

I believe a 'bogan' is worse than a chave if that's possible, don't know what they do to get the title but I think its a term the kids use more.

A member of the lower classes. Similar to what Americans call ' trailer trash' or british call ' Chavs'.

I love the word 'Bogan'

I actually don't think Bogans are supposed to be as bad as chavs but I've never met one so don't really know.

Bogan is used far more in Victoria that it is up here in Qld. Here in Qld the equivalent slang is feral.
