Yep, don't bother coming the beaches of Essex - Canvey Island, Clacton and Southend are much more appealing! Who wants to lunch at Broadbeach all the time anyway???

Have 3 kids aged 4, 8 and 9. all are behind on Hep b. We have to pay for the eldest two but youngest is free on medicare.

My daughter will be 5 on 7th July, hence just misses cut off!! She will be 5 1/2 when she starts school here!! I appealed stating she already had been offered a place in UK and was more than ready...

We rented a unit whilst in UK - we knew exactly where we wanted to be from our reckie. We faxed the paperwork over (rental agreement / references) and moved straight in. Our furniture also arrived...

In UK had 1 speeding point in 20 years of driving - been on GC for 4 months and have received 2 speeding fines!!! both $100 and doing 71km in 60km zone on school run - definitely out to get me!!!

We put off our shippers until we had exchanged contracts! they were very understanding - just re arranged for the following week until everything went through. We then moved out and into my mums...

My kids have had all jabs they are 'supposed to' - personal choice. My nephew went through the single vacine route and between jabs caught mumps - god he was sooo ill. There is no right or wrong...

When we arrived the school asked to see vacination records from UK. Youngest who is 4 has just had MMR booster here - don't think they do single vacinations. Nurse said all kids from UK are behind...

The cut off date in QLD is 30 June. My daughter will be 5 on 7th July so she misses out be 1 week. I appealed to QLD Eduction dept saying she was due to start school in UK in jan 08 with a letter...

There is a company in heathrow called excess baggage. They are very cheap - our stuff arrived 1 week later but we did have to go to the airport to collect it.
