There's new amendment coming into the Residential Tenancy Act (in WA anyway) that specifies they can't make more than 3 inspections in a year. Also, they can't charge you for general wear and tear....

Never use Google maps anymore. I find it very frustrating and it's about 2 years out of date. Nearmaps is great, current up to April 2012.

We stayed in Palm Cove last year (about 20mins out of Cairns towards Pt Douglas). It's gorgeous. Has a laid back hippy vibe with cool bars and expensive hotels. Worth popping by while passing.
