Just out of interest

So what would happen , i.e still hold "PR status" but visa runs out while in Australia, can you be deported from the country. I'm sure i have seen the answer some where but...

Can i ask what agent was recommended, i never really found one who deals with the RRV. If it was a clear case, 100% surety of getting one, they didn't want to know

This is also another reason why i am reluctant to apply onshore. Haven't been back for over 30 years, but still hold PR status in a way but can't return with out a valid visa. Wish i had been older...

Unfortunately the RRV option is the only one left for me. But its the " compelling reasons for absence" that is hard to prove and that will be accepted by the case workers. If you read through that...

just wondering, as i'm sure it used to say a refund maybe issued for some circumstances. But just looked on line and it now states there are no refunds at all.

If this link works, it should give the outcome of reviews regarding the RRV subclass 155. If you read through them you will see people who have been out side Australia for nearly 20 years...
