There have been many times over the last 30 years in UK when some Estate Agents have had similar problems when the market slowed down

I know one location in Costs del Sol [ quiet market] where they are knocking down villas built circa 35 years ago worth 800/1.000.000 € on large plots and building new large...

700.000 € cuts out a lot of people......say 95% of buyers in Spain or even 98%!!!
In Uk which has a similar overall slow market it cuts out most

Only real response is that it is a 'load of...

The Spanish Costa's have one very big advantage over other EU property markets...best weather all year [ for most of them]
Long term Northern EU people want a property in the sun so as the economy...

Some people are getting out at ACC mainly because of their own time scale for moving to Spain
ACC was not illegal and politics got in the way and everything had to be changed and planning re applied...

I have bought just along the road near Huercal Overa
being inland you get better value for money [ 2 bed 2 bath Villas 400m2 plots from 178.000 € ]

For value for money, all facilities and a location to suit everyone [ coast, inland, in between and busy towns] Alicante to Mojacar is hard to beat

Certainly there are some who do get into trouble in this way but most who buy as a holiday home, part or full time living do not proceed unless they are confident that they will be able to complete...
