Default Please help moving to benidorm area

we are planning to rent out our house in February and spend six months in the Benidorm area, before making it a permanent move. We have been considering purchasing a caravan on Excalibur in Alfaz de pi, but we have noticed that they take a long time to sell. So therefore we are looking at options i.e. renting a caravan, or an apartment. Does anyone have any experience or know anyone who rents caravans out, if not does anyone know of an apartment for rental at a reasonable price. This would be much be appreciated. thankyou.

For apartments, look on www.kyero.com under lets. should be plenty there, not sure about caravans

Have you contacted Excalibur Site office directly? They should have advice on who wants to let out their caravans. Usually dozens of adverts pinned to the notice boards.

Live near Benidorm myself (Polop) but not really 'up' on caravan information. If you want any further advice on any other aspects of your move just ask. Will try and help you out.

You have to apply the same standards of care to buying homes in Spain as you do in UK and if you do this you should not have any problems
But buying a caravan is a different matter
In UK caravan sites are regulated by law but in Costa's a lot are very risky

No security, big increases in site charges after first year, no permits
Yet there will be good ones
For the amount of effort you have to put into making sure that it is OK, if your plan is to buy then you may as well rent an apartment first

Benedorm is relatively expensive so when the time comes to buy why not look at Costa Blanca South, Calida or Almeria
I do know someone who sells caravans on the Costa's but even buying through them you have to be careful..checking everything is not easy
