There are some lovely towns in Jaen such as Cazorla, Ubeda and Baeza, and Jaen itself is a fairly large city with good shops and a massive cathedral.

I totally agree that Norton is crap, slowed my computer down and wouldn't allow my son to play online games as it blocked the link. I removed it and downloaded Avast, which is free and updates itself...

Cheers Jim,

I will be looking for kitchen units in the Autumn and having been to Ikea in Seville, will also buy there. As you say the units remain the same style and you can buy doors separately....

Anyone know where to buy good cheap terracotta floor tiles around the Granada or Jaen area.

Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure about getting a full gas bottle without a contract. It's good to know I can exchange them at a petrol station without a contract. :thumbsup:

Hi,

I think a lot depends on where you locate to. There will always be crime, animal cruelty etc. but you see more crime in the larger cities, especially on the coast and usually involving drugs...
