Hello BB69
I am Maryann, I have been here for 7 months, my hubby came here because of his job. We are in Andalucia.
I have a 6 year old litle fairy girl and a 15 month boy who is doing a corrspondance course in demolition.
My posts are usually very badly typed as I have to wrestle my baby as he trys to crawl over the key board of pull the wires, if I wait till after bed time I am too shattered to make sense! I also have to pay my hubby lots of attention. Or he feels left out ( being at work all day and not hanging out on the beach with me and the babes)
My mummy is a silver surfer, and was my 80 year old daddy before he departed this world.
In my parents opinon it is never too late to do or try anything, Good luck with everything and we hope we can help you.
One question.............this nurse you keep mentioning, will she move over here with you or will they let you come alone? You can buy lots of drugs over he counter here so you may not need her to help you with prescriptions, also you wont need a pycastrist here, I have found the spanish understand very little of what I say, and I them, so they cant upset me and I cant upset them! Its like living in your own little bubble, I love it!
No seriously, they are lovely people here, I look forward to your posts and learning more about you.
lots of love
maryann

Hey maryann,
nice to meet you, sounds like you have your hands full...I remember it well, thats because it's still happening !!! They may allow me to wander around eventually as long as I wear the ankle tag !
of course it could all just be an illusion or delusion..

Just to end this thread,
I would like to thank all of you who have made me feel very welcome on this site, even the hijackers who did not bother to say hello.
please forgive my sense of humor..it is a little tortured..as life can be, it's a bit of a reflection.
I will try not to be to normal in the future..Adio.

Hi Bigbhudda,
When I took early retirement we bought a house up in the Jaen Province of Andalucia as we wanted somewhere away from the tourist route. We are currently renovating and are moving our "stuff" over in May or June. We both love the laid back way of life out here, especially the free tapas in all the bars but are finding Spanish difficult to learn, hopefully we will improve when amongst the locals.
Good Luck
Ronnie
