can you tell me how long it is before they take payment as they have acknowledged our app around 4 weeks a go and yet no charge has been made against our card, status is currently "in process"

I wouldn't be too keen to do PCC and medicals as they are only valid for 12 months and if the visa process does take a little bit longer you could end up being delayed even more by having to re-apply...

I know a pain isn't it, I got all excited when we got the acknowledgement little did I know it would take a further 4 weeks just to be allocated to someone:curse: still I am thinking like you Oz will...

I have been taking thyroxine for the past 10 years as I have an under-active thyroid, I was just wondering if anyone else suffers with this and if so has it had an effect on your visa...

your certified copies from the registry office are fine, I sent our original wedding certificate but all our birth certificates were certified copies from the registry office and they went through...

oh right ok that answers that he is an analyst programmer c# and .Net. We are heading to Perth, but we are hoping to set some interviews up the end of this year once we know the status of the visa...

Hi Martin and Emma my husband has corrected me about the age although yes it is a limit of 45 on a skilled visa, if you are sponsored by a company in Oz the age limit does not apply, as I say though...
