We are shipping to NS end of Feb. Armishaws is quoting 2.75% of the value. I'm also looking to see if I can get better value.

I'll tell you in a couple of weeks, i am waiting on a Grade 12 assessment. It takes 12-14 weeks. I got crap GCSE grades 1 b, 5 d's, 2 e's. I looked at the Alberta website it says if you got 5 GCSE's...

Thanks for the reply's.
I am currently in Devon,UK. We are moving in early Mar10. I don't have my AB class 1. I don't won't to do the 12week course in NS to get the license, I think it's too long....

Does anyone know, once you've got your class 1 ticket can you exchange it between provinces. I've searched the provincial sites, only seems to cover car licenses.

I've been checking out the driving license situation. We are moving to NS later in the year.
I know you have to take a new test for NS, but you can exchange your UK license in NB. So any reason why...

Yep already thought of that and phoned AC. You can't check out at Halifax, your what they call held in transit. If you cancel the onward leg you get classed as a no show & your ticket cancelled....

Andy, thanks mate straight to point. I reckon give it a go when we touchdown, see what happens. No point in shelling out £700 for something worthless to us in the future.

We've just come back from a week in Kingsport. Fantastic place to stop if you are interested in the Valley area. About 1 1/2 away from Halifax area.

Is it not time to maybe look at subdividing the forum a bit. Into provinces, cost of living etc...
