Many thanks guys, my fear is if we ask hubbys boss for a pay rise then wait 5 years by then the rules might state they want a higher minimum income!! Aw well, will wait to see what the rules are...

Yep, the general rule of thumb is that if you own the limited company you have to show tax returns for the company, even if you are classed as an employee and are drawing a wage. Its a bit of a grey...

Bourbon-Biscuit, thanks for detailing the rules for me, I thought it sounded too easy to be true that my hubby could come into Oz as a Kiwi and go directly for citizenship and get me my PR.
