Without seeming too negative, there are new graduates fighting for places on these courses and I really cant see a hospital needing to offer it as a sponsorship option. Certainly not a city hospital....

Hi Margaret

We do a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts. You can choose which you prefer. I luv the 12's because it gives me more days off. I do 7am to 7.30pm or 7pm to 7.30am.

Im in Ipswich, QLD .... 30 mins south of Brisbane CBD and 60 mins north of Gold Coast. I work at Ipswich hospital as a midwife and have been here for 3 years xx

We definitely don't have Health Visitors in QLD but we do have Family and Child Health Nurses which is probably as close as you'll get. They work...

RSCN is definitely recognised in QLD and we have a brand new Childrens hospital in Brisbane. Health Visitors don't exist in the same form but we have Child Health nurses who work within community...

Wacol is probably closer to Ipswich than Brisbane and Ipswich is way cheaper to live than Brisbane. It depends whether you want a City lifestyle I guess but there are some great suburbs in Ipswich...

I believe that all Midwifery courses are fee paying and Im not sure that you can get funded for the whole course ...... but there are definitely sponsored places that can be applied for. Not sure how...
