Applied in early May,
Emailed in July as I'd heard nothing from them (got a response confirming fast tracking),
Meds in October,
Passport request in December,
Passports returned last Monday :)

It was based on an intra-company transfer so was exempt from LMO. So I've no idea what you need to do first I'm afraid.

File Created: Jul 08
Med Requests: Oct 08
Med Sent: 31st Oct 08
Passport Request: 9th December 08

Got my passport request through today. Medicals done at halloween, letter from CIC dated 9th December, postal stamp 16th December and arrived in Toronto 29th December.

Got my medicals done at Halloween. Apparently CIC London mailed something (they won't say what) on December 9th. Just waiting now.

Had my medical at Halloween, Got fed up of waiting for passport requests so emailed CIC. Apparently they sent 'a letter' on the 9th of December, the wait is killing me.

I applied for fast track PR back in April and have been jumping through the CIC hoops. The most recent step was my medicals being sent off to the London office on the 31st of October.

I hit the 12 week mark last Thursday!

I sent them an email Friday asking what was happening and got a stock response saying 'high volume of requests' etc....

They told me to check if the draft...

Just be careful about what's covered by the insurance. I didn't take insurance in the end because it didn't cover water damage or pest damage. They charge about 3.5% for it too.
