how many brits get homesick and how bad does it get?

I do get it occassionally and I get sad and frustrated with everything but it goes away the next day.

pork and leek sausage, cumberland ring, anberdeen angus beef sausages....how I mss them all. fried til golden then put over creamy mash with some nice onion gravy.

I find it amusing that americans say Herbs without the H ...so they say "erbs"

they are called parsnips but they just arent very popular here. Try either a local greengrocer or I do know that Safeway stocks them.

It is a very american thing...not being able to deal appropriately with an issue.
