Smeg Fridge in Aus

Hi

Has anyone bought and imported a large item such as an American style fridge from UK to Aus (much more expensive here)?

Or a retailer of the Smeg 320L fridge in Australia?

I should clarify, I know LAFHA can apply domestically, if an employee is sent(for example) to another city. I am specifically interested in whether the cut-off is the date the residency...

Hmm, my understanding is that most private healthcare covers only minimal dentral treatment - a couple of check ups per year, but no way enough for, say, a crown or (god forbid) root canal treatment....

Just thought I would share with you my experience.

Work's nomination - approximately 6 weeks from lodgement to gratn.

Visa application - 2 months from lodgement to grant.

Am pretty happy...
