So I got my Spouse PR in December 2006 so I am on the old list. By then I had already been here (1 year working holiday visa, 2 years prospective...

Was there a few weeks ago and there was a bit more of a police presence then used to be..e.g. I saw some! There was still weed around - not for me though I have grown out of that!

Don't live there but visited many times...Its a VERY pretty area but Byron itself can get touristy/backpaker'y but I still prefer it to the more built up areas with tower blocks further up the coast....

My paperwork is all submitted now to play the waiting game the letter says six months I hope its six weeks like some others though!

If I want to go out of the country for hoildays during this time...

They will actually send you a checklist of what they want you to send basically its a little less then the 1st time. Although I was interested to note they wanted photos this time! I am compiling...

Never really ahd a problem with my disposables over here but I only tend to wear them if I am playing sports or going out.

The air is a bit funny at the moment in Sydney - I am sure its because of...

OK I realllllllyyyy dont want to turn this into whats better Aus or UK ( we have people like Vash for that) but do you really think the trains and Bus's and cycle lanes are better in Syd then London?...

In London I had over and hour commute and in Sydney I have 15 mins. But I have friends who have the opposite - doesn't it depend where you live in relation to work!?

I would have to say the working hours are in general longer for office work here then in any office I worked in London... It seems accepted that everyone stays back for long hours...I did read that...
