Unfortunatley, most companies that I could potentially work at dont seem to handle their own recruitment and rely on these agencies to find them staff - so sending the CV directly to them seems to be...

Thanks guys for the feedback. On the whole opinions seem to sway towards it being no more violent than any other city hotspot they have frequented be it in the UK or otherwise.
