Nebosh general certificate is the equivelant of Cert IV in OHS if you bring your certificate and something that outlines the elements of the course ( I had to get the details from the website)...

Yes NSW charges 457 visa holders the $4500 per child but if you get PR mid year they will refund.
book costs and trips are very like UK and have several ways to pay, also have an assistance policy...

Another version of the 38 hour week is 4 X 8.5 + 8 in the first week (42 hrs) and then just 4 x 8.5 with rostered day off in 2nd week (34 hrs) but you are paid an average of 38 hours per week.
