I know 3 Brits who got it in with BC gov here on the island in the last 18 months or so - 1 in comms and 2 in IT. They got sponsored for PNP, so it isn't impossible.

If you have already submitted PNP application, don't just wait to send snail-mail letter requesting quicker processing - I'd email a scanned copy too. If you haven't already submitted, then get it...

You should include a cover letter to explain that you are going to have to go home because of your other WP expiring and requesting they expedite your PNP processing if possible - perhaps ring/email...
