We brought our TV over which is about 6 years old. It didn't work initially but I bought a digital set-top box for $75 and it works perfectly.

Re: Luxury car question

I wouldn't consider importing a vehicle which didn't have a direct model available in Australia - especially if it is a different body shape, because as soon as you have an accident where a body...

Re: I want to buy a new car - tips?

Re: Cars

Fords and Holdens do lose their value very quickly as they are sold to fleets with huge discounts. Here are some examples for you:

2004 Ford Fairmont cost $42,570.00 new, now worth $14,050.00 as...

Re: 7 seater MPV

There is no such thing as a 7 seater with good boot space if 6 of the seats are going to be occupied. You will need to increase luggage space in other ways such as a roof pod or trailer.

Re: best place to buy a new car on arrival in gold coast

New cars are only sold through franchised dealerships in Australia. Depending on the spec you are going for you should easily get over $5000.00 off a new Prado. But you do need to haggle - they...

Re: 7 seater 4WD or People Carrier?

The Captiva is a good car, especially in diesel form, but like the 4WD Territory it is not a proper offroader. I know of a Ford dealership owner who joined a 4x4 convoy into the outback with a...
