I used the prep guide aswell, and the mock exam- as Nick says, only take the mock exam near your actual exam. You only have access to the exam once, so make sure you have plenty of time, I also...

I don't think I explained myself very well- if you enter the Canada on a work permit- do you have to start in the stated job straight away, or can you, for instance, have a month off...

We are currently renting right in the south of Calgary. We are paying $1800 per month for a 3 bed-roomed house. It was posted for $2000 but we negotiated it down a bit.
