I found my digital photo collection to be invaluable. Could easily tell dates of arrival and departure from these (as I usually take photos at airports).

Once you have citizenship you have to leave and arrive into Australia on an Australian passport (expired or not!). You can't use a British passport for this.

We put our applications in on 5th November 2017. My wife's application had our two children on it, mine was stand alone. We had our interviews/tests last week - Both passed the test and all documents...

Wait til you get to citizenship - we've filled in the forms for our 457, two years later more of the same for the PR and now more of the same for citizenship. Most if not all of it should be on file....

Yep - Border website is unchanged not surprisingly. Can't see the Liberals wanting to sing and dance about this. Nevertheless, we've started to put our online application online together now :-)
