Your friend has flown over 10,000 miles to discuss:

Mug usage in the workplace
Supermarkets 2 for 1 deals
Seating provision (or lack of) at Pizza Hut
The lack of hamburgers at chip shops.

Re: Emirates Flight - question

You will change planes but your baggage will be tagged to go straight through to your Aus destination. Definitely take the shorter stopover.

Re: Quantas/ BA flights entertainment?

I've heard that QANTAS have quite an old fleet, so you may not be guaranteed a seat back screen, see also Thai.

Emirates, Cathay, Singapore and Malaysian are all more up to date.

Re: Why Are So Many Going Or Not Posting?

Could it also be due to the fact that we are seeing more and more emails which appeal less to the audience at large? I get bored scanning through pages of karma and smileys. People may be less...

Re: Internet Shopping in Australia

I agree. it's a pain. You should be the one who chooses where you end up.

Try clicking on the UK button on the right hand side of the lastminute.au homepage to force a redirect to the UK site.

Re: Short let accommodation

I'm sure a property owner would be pleased to have a 3 month rental over the off season - and you could negotiate a lower price.

Should be plenty of proper homes on offer (opposed to mobile ones)....
