Indoor-only cats are very common. Lots of my neighbours have them. One has outdoor cats. They are not popular. Our kitten is an indoor cat. It seems that the decision has to be made from the word go....

Take your time. On 3/4" wood the top of the Forstner should about 1/8 proud.

The depth is slightly more important than the radius. Just a bit;)

You can always driil more. You can't drill less.

I've got all the bits. Hole saws, Fostner bit and a hole cutter. I used the last one when I made my wine rack. I will not use it freehand...

I can fiddle around with practice bits for ever. God knows I've done that enough times. I'd just rather know the 'proper' and quick way to do it.

No, I don't live in TO but I do live somewhere with a good bus service, which also serves Ottawa. Plus, I don't need a car to work and am prepared to walk further than North Americans.

Flexible tickets are most certainly available. They can be rather costly. It's even possible to change your dates with cheapos. That can also cost a bit.
