Yes he's on the operations side of things. Are you talking about the Shell refinery in Corio? We know someone who works there and he says they are downsizing aswell so doesn't see much of a future...

It's a Samsung DVD-R121

We have another uk bought DVD player (unfortunately doesn't record) which works ok, so I suspect the oz one isn't compatible or something.

Lots of reasons which we've thought hard about, main one being a terminal illness in the family back in UK. We only intend returning for 2 years max then coming back to Australia.
