Default Holiday Park Perth

Hi

We're flying from UK to Perth next month for 2 weeks to validate our kids visas (hubby and mine already done).

Been looking at hotels in CBD and prices are pretty steep....and anyway with a 20 month old and a 3 year old we're thinking a hotel maybe isn't the best option and self-catering would be better.

Any recommendations for holiday parks or self-catering apartments in or around Perth that are nice but not too expensive?

Cheers
Judy

Don't know how to put web site on here but check out Karrinyup Waters Resort. Its about 20 mins from the City and 10mins from the beach. Never been there but the self caterings cabins look lovely.
Good Luck

You're right, you would probably be mad to stay at a CBD hotel for 2 weeks with baby and toddler. Quite a few people have used www.stayz.com.au, there's also http://www.rent-a-home.com.au/accommodation/wa/ or http://www.homeaway.com.au/holiday-r...australia/r470 and probably a few more to try. Someone else on here stayed at Seashells Scarborough and Mandurah recently http://seashells.com.au/resorts/scarborough/overview/. We did use stayz once, which worked well, have no personal experience of the others. Suggest that wherever you choose, you're near a park and playground for the kids, which is quite easy in most areas.

Here's the place Dennis The Menace just mentioned: http://www.kwr.net.au/.

We stayed at Seashells at both Scarborough and Mandurah, both lovely and quite reasonable, facilities were great in both, ideal if you have kids with you. Both in good locations. They often have deals like get 7 nights for price of 5. We got that deal through Freedom Australia, but we also found it by just doing a google search for same money.

Keep forgetting about that one - cafe on site, too, although not as good as it used to be - think it used to be called Costa del Sol and run by Brits?
