Re: Photos mixed on COPRs

When they're good, they're very good. Our passports and COPRs were received in Buffalo Monday, and I received the corrected documents Wednesday. That's what I call service! I used USPS Express...

Re: Advice to New Buffalo Applicants

I agree - it's great and searchable and all that. I'm completely addicted myself, I'm just saying that God invented CD burners for a reason, and that reason is emotionally unstable hard drives.

Re: Advice to New Buffalo Applicants

Re: It's all over but the landing!

Another fellow in Canada said that within Canada the mail service is different, apparently there is some courier service involved, anyway, I believe that they routinely take longer inside Canada. ...

Re: It's all over but the landing!

Thanks! This forum really is comforting when there are others in similar situations. I faxed them tonight, I'll hope for a reply in a week or so.

Re: importing a vehicle - recall letter timing

Thanks, they are a Toyota and a Mazda. I guess I'm just anxious to get my ducks all in a row. I think I will wait until June. - hate to get to the border and have the vehicle refused entry.

importing a vehicle - recall letter timing

I've checked the registrar of imported vehicles web site and I understand that we must provide a recall clearance letter for each vehicle we are importing. I wonder how current that has to be? We...

Re: God I am an idiot....

I got myself into a similar predicament with the FBI here in the states and I can't relate it to a family member. I was so excited to get the IA with a request for FBI and medicals that I rushed...

Re: PPR photo - how to label?

It's only a facade of calmness, I assure you!

I received a reply to this question on the newsgroup. The answer is to write the full name and birthdate on the back of one photo of each applicant. ...

Re: caips - BDEC date with no status

Actually, I know that is the "bring forward" date and "NEW" are the initials of to whom the file will be brought forward. Apparently it's like a tickle file and on 3/20/05, today, someone will get a...

caips - BDEC date with no status

I am concerned that our caips notes file shows a BDEC date, but no status.
It looks like this:

PSDEC 1 13-09-2004
BDEC __ 15-02-2005
OREQ 0

FILE BF'D TO: NEW ON...

Re: caips interpretation questions

The date without a status code looks like this:
PSDEC 1 13-09-2004
BDEC __ 15-02-2004
OREQ 0
Are you saying that is a separate "bring forward" date for BDEC, independent of the file...
