Hey,

Hubby and the kids had their medicals at the end of Jan and the interviews are booked for Monday 25 Feb!!

I can't believe it's almost here and we won't be in limbo for much longer! :)

OK, so I'm well and truly confused....

I'm a USC born and living in the UK. My husband and children are going through the IR1 & IR2 visa process and have their medicals booked for the end of Jan....

My eldest son is in his final year of his GCSEs so we thought it was best to wait and like Pulaski (https://britishexpats.com/forum/members/pulaski-1041/) said, start a new school year.

Me, my husband and our 3 children are moving to Florida in July 2019 and are going to "make the most" of our last Christmas in the UK - Christmas markets etc!

I had to prove my eligibility through with the necessary paperwork at the US Embassy in London and wait for it to be confirmed and receive my passport. I now have dual citizenship :)

My mum is USC, moved over to the UK when she was 4yrs and went onto have me and my siblings but thankfully I was born out of wedlock! Mum moved back over to the US and I stayed...

Thanks Rete. however, all my children were born before I gained by USC and so I don't this applies to them according to the immigration website "Children born abroad after you became a U.S. citizen...
