Hi,
I'm looking to book the medical and interviews for my husband and 3 children for February at the London US Embassy and I was just wondering what would be involved, how to prepare, should they dress formally?! Any help would be very welcome.
Thankfully I'm a US citizen (born and living in the UK) so don't need to go through the 'system'!
Ta muchly,
Ceri

I've asked for your thread to be transferred to the marriage-based visa forum.
As for your question, there is no dress code for the medical at Knightsbridge. Just be clean and tidy. You will require a patient summary for all 4 of the patients and a copy of their vaccination reports. There is a read me post regarding this at the start of the MBV forum.
The medical includes a listen to your heart, lungs, an x-ray, pee in a cup, etc.
The US Embassy's London website will have the information on Knightsbridge, i.e. phone number, address, etc. They also have a pdf of the medical sheet that is required to be completed and brought with you. Your husband will need his police certificate as will any child 16 or older. I believe the LDN # is required to book the medical. Others on the MBV forum will confirm and provide further details.

No formal dress required, I did though because that's just me, I did regret getting suited and booted for the medical as it was a hot day, lol

Here are mine for your reference (the medical is a little long-winded as I had health issues that needed covering, but you'll get the gist of what the day entails):My interview experience - U.S. Embassy in London
My Medical at Knightsbridge
No need to dress formally, but I personally chose (and I imagine most choose) to not look a total scruff-bag. I wore a long jumper dress, black leggings and flat boots to both, and they let me in just fine.
I would argue that being comfortable is more important, especially at the medical. There is a lot of sitting and waiting around at both, and a little bit of prodding and poking at Knightsbridge.Good luck to you and your family!

I hate the doctors and so dressed in jeans and a tee-shirt.
As for the actual interview, dress pants and a button down if I remember correctly.

Lots have people have provided detailed write-ups of their experiences at the medical and at the interview - if you type those words into the search bar, a bunch of their threads will pop up.
