Re: Perth Ikea !

The parking is just as bad though - well it has been on the days I've been. Don't know if the Adelaideans (?) have quite got Ikea yet - think it was just full of English and Swedes.

Re: 14 Year old

Hi
When I enrolled my then 13 year old at school here in Australia they never asked for previous school reports. After a few months in Year 9 she was moved up to Year 10 without any hassles.

Thanks for replies - I've sent a letter back to the insurance company but not holding out much hope - I've got nothing to lose.

The insurance company is AXA.

Re: Mumps vaccine

Who are you to tell me to "do it properly or not at all". As far as I'm concerned I'm doing it properly - she's my child and I'll chose.

Lemmings jump off cliffs "properly" every year.

PS -...

We were told to insure our belongings for the full replacement value of everything and then we paid a percentage of the total replacement value (I presume that's the norm)

Therefore I insured a...

Re: One piece of advice

It may sound funny but I would say if you've got kids invest in a DVD player for the car to keep them occupied while you are driving around suburbs.

When we first got here our toddler was a...

Re: Dont make a mistake

Hi Ireland

What's your plan of action once you have finished in May? Not sure how old your kids are but are they still up for coming to Australia?
