you could do it your self. Why not keep the funds in the UK? Well this is what I am doing. I have merged two funds in the UK to one in the UK + my supprer in Aus. £ is better than Aus $ in long run

I just returned from Brisbane. In fact this was my second trip. I love Brisbane but unfortunately my job is based in Sydney. 16months since being in Aus. No regrets.

Yep, Prices must come down. NSW prices are over valued. Rent money is not dead money. If you buy a house you pay most to the bank. Also, rental return is 4% and interest rates are 7%. Saving of 3%....

After 15 months I as still on rent. Paying $600 aweek in Sydney. But on the other hand my property in the UK too is on rent but equivalent to $400 a week.

I totally agree. Do your home work before leaving UK. I too got a contract job before leaving London at 115K + free beer on Friday !!! which was less than what I got in the UK except never got any...

Yes, migrating to any country has problems. Like in the UK getting the NI number. I had issues opening an account in Australia due to 100 point score and all I had was the British passport.

catch 22 situation - In my opinion Australian population is too low, hence few job. Therefore, more immigrants will create more jobs. Also, lots of Aussi travel abroad for few years to earn big money...

If you land in Aus in AM do not sleep until night time, then next day you will be like all other Aussi's. I arrived here on Friday AM, stuggle to keep awake until 9 PM. Sat woke up at 11 am........
