Default Flights prices/offers

I've just had my 4 weeks hoiday approved to visit Australia in October/November. I have been told it's better to book flights in advance, but are there any good special offers around at the moment, as theres 6 of us.

Thanks

When we used to fly from the UK we always used www.expedia.co.uk and found them very competative. Hope you get sorted and enjoy your holiday over here in the sunshine.

What the hell has happened to the prices of flights this year? Last year we flew out in November and the cost was about £700 each. Up to £900+ this year

Try calling a few of the agents as you can save several hundred pounds.. I fly emirates fairly often these days however if you book with emirates directly then it usually costs an extra £100-£200 or so.

I find www.airline-network.co.uk one of the best, although also check the likes of expedia.co.uk, austravel.co.uk

Whichever airline you choose, make sure you join their frequent flyer programme... You'll earn valuable points that you can use for upgrades to business class or free flights/holidays etc

hope that helps

July/August is school holiday season hence flights are £100-200 more or so...

They'll be down again later in the year.

Just bought some tickets with Emirates, booked through Trailfinders.
£616 adult
£524 Child

They are for 11th October Birmingham - Perth return, valid for 12 months.
We live in Perth, but find it cheaper buying the flights in the UK.

Neil.

Smile Re: Flights prices/offers

I was out for dinner last night with my friend who is a senior manager at Travelmood, I mentioned to him that he probably gets a lot of business off BE, and he would like me to pass on his thanks to anyone from BE who has given them business in the past.

I would thoroughly recommend Travelmood - I have now booked with them for 12 years in total and they consistently beat other companies prices.

Tell me about it!

I was looking for a single return Heathrow - Brisbane for my mum in October and couldn't find much with a decent airline for under £900.

Settled in the end for a November flight with Singapore for just under £800.

Try 020 74376272 Taprobane travel. Based in Central London. I got mine via Colombo to Sydney £600. Break in colombo helped me on jetlag ! If you fly Emirates, with points you will get a free flight NZ

Cool Re: Flights prices/offers

We have used travelmood for a couple of years now and they have been great (best prices and so helpful and great afterservice). The lasy I book with is called Jill Patch (very recommended)

We paid £550 Man to Perth via KL (stopover) for May this year.

Cheers
