Default australian address

when you apply for a import permit to ship your pet over (you need one of these before the quarantine station will let you book) you also need an australian address as well as microchip number etc.

now I don't know anybody in perth where we are going so I was hoping one you guys in perth would lend me your address to submit.

I know its a bit cheeky but don't worry we won't turn up on your doorstep in november with a 14 year old and two large dogs.asking for somewhere to stay.as soon as we get an address, i think a hotel will do we will change it.

has anyone else had a similar problem?

There is a fab thread Helping Each Other at the top of page one - shows a list of BE member volunteers - might be an idea to PM some of the volunteers in the WA list.

Put down the address of your hotel or accomodation that you have booked for when you arrive. Then you simply phone the quarantine station and change your details when you have found somewhere longterm. Easy.

Just keep in touch with them and let them know where you are staying since they will want to send you the final invoice by post for the station costs.

we can't book any accomodation yet as we have not booked our flights, house not sold yet, but we need to get the quarantine booked as there is a 3 month wait.
