I get mine from a wholesale place in KL that imports salmon etc, but sure there must be somewhere in Penang. Ask at the Fish&Chips place next to Healy Macs where they get theirs.

If you want a really creamy chunky white meat have you tried Monkfish tail? Texture is like the old north atlantic Cod. Great baked wrapped in foil.

Have you tried getting Barramundi - they dont seem to use it much here so cheaper than Grouper.
A Brown or Orange Grouper might smoke well... nice white...

Didn't realise it was THAT bad up there. That is worse than 1997.
I wouldnt like to do a go around at Langkawi as too many nearby hills.

I am surprised about flights being cancelled as Langkawi has a Cat 1 ILS and 10,000+ ft runway long enough for 747s. Ive gonr in and out of there in severely reduced visability rain storms.

Actually what worries me much more is the due date for Krakatau next eruption.. sometime in the next 15 years according to most reports, and it's only 1,111 kilometers from K.L.

I have the same contracted out years... seemed like a good idea at the time during the 80's, but then private pension funds collapsed, so the safety net developed too many holes! My QROPS is now 50%...

The parial pension aspect was what i remembered the case to be, but yet again I was born 10 days too late for those benefits!! :thumbdown:
It doesnt seem to matter how hard one tried over ones...
