I think the reason the public transport is so slow from the gap is that there isn't a direct bus. you need to get 2. I don't know where you switch because i drive but i know there is a swap

I can do it in about 20-25 mins most mornings. not too long, it would take about an hour on public transport i'm led to believe

I live in the gap and work in toowong the traffic isnt too bad if you know the little shortcuts. The Gap seems to me to be a great place to stay for us. Walking distance to parks and a decent bus...

We were quoted as 7-12 weeks from pick which is now looking like 12 weeks minimum and it was 7 tea crate boxes, about 60x60x60.

I think it was a consolidation shipment was just surprised to hear...

I've booked etihad, albeit edinburgh to brisbane, but they are doing it one stop so I'd have a look at them also. It's the boeing dreamliner from abu dhabi to brisbane so looking forward to that.

I have my visa now and have been applying as I leave very shortly but even at that I'm struggling to get interest until I actually land in the country. I wouldn't imagine there would be much interest...

We are using an agent so got to assume its all in hand, they are MARA (?) registered so i'll just try keep calm and wait it out

So hopefully by 8/9/10th march everything will be good to go, just playing the waiting game. other than evidence of points, police checks and medicals is there anything else that can be requested?

Our actual visa application went in last monday, we've got all documentation for points etc. police checks should be back by monday coming (if royal mail play the game), and medicals booked for next...

I've not had a look yet will do though. i don't really want to skip on those obligations so there is no guarantee we will jump state i'd much rather a 189 also just so i don't have the extra baggage...

I've sent off an email to them to ask them to clarify the situation. Will see what they say. Is there a minimum time required to live in a particular state or is that part permanent?

Just got my Vetassess letter back saying that everything is ok.... except they haven't given me the full 5 years experience. My agent assures me this is no biggie and i can go state sponsored....

We have flights and shipping covered too, bringing very very little over, no furniture so will have to fully furnish the house. We won't be buying a car initially as my dad who is out there now will...

I thought the medicals had to be requested by the case officer. The police and medical checks are the only things we need to do as everything else is with the agent.

Everything was sent in on 25th September as thats when they took payment.

I did ask the agent for the number but it is in their account so i can't track it.

msmyrtle does this mean if your EOI is in by 6th November 2015 you're looking at 11 September for the visa being granted?
