Just to clarify/confirm. Your UK State Pension stops growing when you come to Canada as they dont increase it unlike with other Commonwealth countries...

I've been using Halo Financial for nearly 10 yrs, they were 5th on that list of brokers in the original link.

You can set rates of exchange up to 6 months in advance and not have to worry about...

Note that you cant just update your details if you obtained a Canadian License by exchanging your UK one in Canada. You can check the DVLA site by providing your Uk Drivers number and it will tell...

Actually according to the D1 Form I got from the DVLA there is NO FEE for exchanging a foreign license.

My Bank TD wanted to offer 1.88 something so I saved myself nearly $700 .

Compared to North America the UK is expensive - I've already looked into it.
Costs are around 30% more, even second hand.

If you have a premium marque worth a lot of money then bringing it over...

Use one of the professional currency exchange firms, I used HaloFinancial.com and Global Reach partners is another one with a good rep.

These tend to charge a fixed fee say £15 per transfer and...
