The reason I need an updated address I believe is because they actually mail you an access code which you need to access the account. I think it is true whether you do it via Service Canada or CRA,...

Luckily not having any kids and divorced or deceased ex's to include as part of the process means a bunch of the application sections can be pretty much skipped...

Thank you guys. I will definitely check out both Johnsons' and TD. I did a coupe of online quotes that were around the $200 mark, so anything less than that is a bonus.

I was just using the "half my paycheck" expression to convey how discruntled I was at the $500 PM insurance quote.

My pay cheque is actually zero at the moment as I only arrived 2 weeks ago ;)
