One area not mentioned yet is Narangba Valley, to the West of the Highway. Rentals are a tad cheaper and there are plenty of rentals. When I lived up that way I had several friends in the area....

I've never been to the USA but schools are free, with the option of private schooling as in the USA. Healthcare is excellent by any first world standards.

Because most beer is served at -1 degrees C it's traditionally served in smaller glasses so it doesn't warm up. Victoria didn't have anything bigger than half pints until about ten or twelve years...

Get car inspected for a safety certificate
Get a green slip
Attend the Transport Department with ID and QLD registration certificate and...

The car must come with a safety certificate that is provided to the seller by a registered garage (virtually the same as the MOT in the UK).

It doesn't cover things like engine or gearbox...
