Hello. My family's PR cards have expired and renewals were applied for however as the delay in getting renewal PR cards out to existing PRs is almost 6 months, our PR cards may not be issued to us...

We are only 4kms from the centre of a reasonable sized small town and only 2kms from the Hydro Station. We don't live out in the middle of nowhere and it is an inhabited area where our farm is.

Yes. Every month we are charged a Delivery Charge of $60....plus the other charges I mentioned. These are all charged each and every month.

Use my Buying Power Vs Exchange Rate - Canada = $1,375 - UK = £988. UK is cheaper to someone earning exactly the SAME FIGURE in $'s as in £'s.

The exchange rate does not mean a thing to me. Having lived here for 3 years it is far more about buying power. My earnings in the UK were about £50,000. My earnings here in Canada...

I've been living here in Ontario since 2004 and I would say that most things are more expensive than back in the UK, however some things are about the same...
