Re: Buying used VW Tiguan/are these charges valid?

I would let the sales guy know you are interested in the CR-V and then tell him you are uncomfortable with the extra fees.

Re: Shaving

I use the expensive cartridges though, adn have the same misgivings with regards to expense. When I have used the cheap disposables, I have not been impressed....

Re: Christmas Bonus.

Closest to me would be the Vaughan Office. But since I live/work on the east side of the city, the drive would be killer.

The day you guys open an office around Pickering/Ajax, I'll be stopping in...

Re: Christmas Bonus.

Good on Ya. Who knows maybe I'll go over that way. Their nearest office is a little far for me is all that holds me back. I don't want an hour long commute again.

Re: Christmas Bonus.

The way it worked in the private corp was that the corp matched every share you bought with a freebie. Basically a 2-for-one deal, so you had to pony up $10,000 to buy a share, but you got $20,000...

Re: Christmas Bonus.

Yes Arthur, I made the switch about 3 years ago. I am regretting it more and more all the time.

Slagging of Gov't workers aside, employee ownership in a well-directed company easily beats the...

Re: RV parking on driveway

Actually thats one of the things you want the right to do - if the owner goes AWOL on you, and you have a rusting heap of junk by the house, you want the right to dispose of it, despite it being...

Re: RV parking on driveway

Re: Flying from Buffalo, NY and VWP

We have found it is very much hit and miss depending on when and where you are flying. Sometimes Canadian destinations are cheaper from Buffalo. Figure that one out, I dare you!

I am told that the...

Re: Am i needed??

We have trouble finding people with approopriate network communications/fibre technicians in my business. There is always room in IT as long as you are in a specialized field and carry credentials.

Re: Good show on Poverty in Canada

That is unfortunate - NZ has always sounded like a fantastic place to me. I am sure they will recover. The Kiwis are clever and resillient.

I am not sure that I could offer a fair comparison to NZ, having never visited. Are you saying that there has been an increase in poverty there, or that you see more of it here?

A Google search of...
