If you get called for I-751 interview, do they usually invite both husband and wife? or just conditional resident who filed I-751?

from what i read you have a proof that you've sent letter requesting to re-schedule your AOS interview. That is gonna help.
but definately contact immigration lawyer to re-open your case....

yes, if you go to SS office and show them your passport and EAD card, they will send your SS number like within two weeks.

then go and talk to them before your interview and get some kind of affidavit paper. Ask them to give you some kind of statement that they confirm that you and their son used to live at their house...

Dont feel down,
the main thing you are got married bona fide, and there are witneses of your marriage.
the fact that you dont have that many "joint" evidences i dont think would be a big problem,...
