Comments like your response, make it so evidently clear that you probably have never been made to be self aware about anything that you can't control that pertains to your self. Your comparison...

Re: Moving to Charleston SC from the UK. Am I making the right decision?

Re: It's so dangerous to be a black American, I've sought asylum in Canada Kyle Lydel

I completely agree with you. As a 'minority' who was born and raised in the UK, and now lives in the United States , Europe does not offer even a percentage of what minorities in the US can achieve....

Re: 7 dead in Drive by shooting in CA seems one English kid who could not handle it.

He couldn't "handle" it .... That's total nonsense. Reading his self written life story, he was clearly deluded by his own high expectations in practically everything, and couldn't handle it. He even...

Exclamation Re: Do americans live excessively beyond their means ?

I just didn't realize how fueled America is on credit, until I moved here. Specially here in L.A. I've noticed people like that. The ones who spend excessively on their kids, just to maintain an...

Re: Do americans live excessively beyond their means ?

Yes, I agree. Here in L.A, it's all about that, but you have to learn to be contented at some point. I know I won't be contented until I have my own business which I can live freely on.

Do americans live excessively beyond their means ?

It's something that I have come to notice here in the U.S, but I think it's more a particular thing here in Los Angeles. I meet so many Americans here who will say that they don't make a lot of...

Re: Does Britain need to catch up ?????

Well, more than 95% of those who go to Oxford and Cambridge come from private schools. Democracy isn't always such a privilege to everybody :)

Re: Does Britain need to catch up ?????

There is a class system here in the U.S. I agree with that also. Social mobility is not as mutually exclusive to all sectors of society as they make it out to be , but there is definitely a huge push...
