Oh- our local RDA has still been nominating people and I know this for sure but just wondered whether it had effected them or not as I know this had proved a popular if somewhat limited entry route...

Interesting.....does that include the 'community identified' part of the NSNP where RDA's from different countys within NS can nominate a handful of people every year who do not have huge funds...

Fees abolished- NSNP

Yay!! heard this on the radio yesterday....the fees of $5500 that you send with your skilled-worker application through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program have been abolished today!

Gosh this is really bringing me out in a cold sweat!!!

We live pretty simply in a modest home and share one car and have 3 kids in Nova Scotia....our monthly income is pretty poor- maybe take home...

This year wasn't too bad for mozzies in NS (in response to h_henrys question)...well in our area anyway but the 'black fly' are horrid and you find your scalp bleeding and the bites come up in big...

We live rurally in the South Shore Region of NS- about 15 mins inland from Mahone Bay & Lunenburg and about 25 mins to Bridgewater. These places are in Lunenburg County. Perhaps I am biased but...
