We are flying BA and Qantas (bought through Austravel) and paid 659£/adult for one way to Brisbane with 2 stops in US. It was even cheaper if we only only stopped in LA....

A quick look on the online employment sites should give you a good idea. I find www.hays.com.au to be the best for Brisbane but give seek, careerone and mycareer a look as well.
