Lots a comments for solos,but if ya go with a buddy,the accom costs are halved,thats a big deal.

Only Extras other than accom for 2 pax while living in Thailand= 2XBottle scotch a day and a few...

Ya got the right idea mate,and I see ur in Brissie,but with Aussie prices at almost $30 for a 700 mill bottle of gin,scotch,vodka or whatever,ya gotta be rich to get enought in ya to keep the biters...

I do remember during the marvellous Portaguese era, a beautifull almost deserted Island just off the coast of Luanda called Isla San Tome.Had a bar trade store of sorts,not much else.

It may seem a bit wanky, but you can buy numerous electronic devices that are supposed to emit a frequency the buggers dont like.
Some of these small units plug into a power point for dwelling...

I only have 10 weeks there, and dont really need to bring much for myself that I can not already get in Goa, Booze, Food, Accom,the usual tourist stuff, but to assist my humble budget WHILE IN Goa...

Dont know about the Brit visas,but I was just issued a 6 month tourist visa in Australia,on a Aussie passport for single entry only.

Ill give the old "Blue Riband gin" a bash,dont care too much if its not quite Gordons at that price, the Tonic and lemon slice hides a lot of mistakes,anyway better than the Aussie price...
